Back in December, we translated an interview in Famitsu magazine with Bravely Second producer Tomoya Asano and character designer Akihiko Yoshida. In the interview, Yoshida and Asano discussed the improvements being made to the game and how it was progressing.

In the same interview, which is now up on Famitsu.com, Asano also mentioned another little tidbit about Bravely Second—that the game will have a subtitle as part of its final name.

The previous game in the series, Bravely Default, used the subtitle of “Flying Fairy” in Japan, which was a reference to various aspects of the game. While the updated version of that game, Bravely Default: For the Sequel, didn’t have a similarly meaningful subtitle, Asano feels that taking the same approach with Bravely Second would disappoint fans.

And so, Bravely Second, like the first game, will also use a subtitle with some sort of hidden meaning. The game is currently in development for Nintendo 3DS.
