After having recently brought big profits to the company, Falcom have announced that the latest installment in The Legend of Heroes series, Trails in the Flash, will be getting a sequel on PlayStation 3 and Vita, as part of the Trails franchise’s 10th anniversary celebration.
The sequel doesn’t have a name yet, but Falcom announced that it is expected to be released sometime in 2014.
The Trails in the Flash sequel will take place in the same locale as the previous game, featuring Rean and friends. It will also have an enhanced battle system, event scenes, controls, ability system, and more, from The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash.
Additionally, Falcom says that they’re been working zealously on the title to have it represent the series’ 10th anniversary.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash’s sequel is currently in development and slated for release next year for PlayStation 3 and Vita.
