In addition to producer Naoki Yoshida’s recent talks on upcoming changes to Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, the adventurers of Eorzea will be welcoming new faces when the game officially launches on PlayStation 4 in April 2014.
Prior to the release, Square Enix will start a Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn beta test for PlayStation 4 on February 22, the same day the console launches in Japan.
Yoshida previously announced that players who purchased the PlayStation 3 version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 4 version for free. However, players that upgrade to the PS4 version will lose the rights to play the PlayStation 3 version.
