Blobs And Blocks Keep Falling In Puyo Puyo Tetris

We gotta go man. Like, now, man. They’re coming… blocks and blobs. The last time we took a look at Sega’s upcoming twist to the two good old puzzlers Puyo Puyo Tetris we talked about how it would have a special mode that combines the two games.

GET DOWN! I think the blobs and blocks are gone now… Anyway, the mode which swapped players between playing either Puyo’s blobs or Tetris’s tetraminos? When the game swaps your board between a player’s Puyo and Tetris sets, the swapped set will continue to fall, leading to situations where you could come back to a really messed up game.

There’s also another mode we’ll just call Bomb The Other Guy  – A bomb tile will appear in your set of tiles that you’ll need to send over to the opponent before it explodes. Puyo Puyo Tetris will bring this hell on us will be the 6th of February 2014. And it is a multiplatform title for Vita, the PlayStation 3, the 3DS, the Wii U.
