Tekken director Katsuhiro Harada was taking to Twitter and discussing some odd things relating to a character that appears to have been rejected from a game he was involved in. When asked if changing the way the character was portrayed might get it featured, he noted that the rejection came “a while back” and showed off a sketch that was surprisingly well-drawn. It was a shot of a girl called Ganmi in… a school swimsuit.

People began clamoring for him to do something about it and asking who on Earth would have said no to putting a character like that in a game (do note, though, it’s never made explicit that this was even about Tekken in the first place).
Harada then issues a challenge—although, whether he’s ready for the ramifications of it or not is going to be fun to find out. If his post with the girl gets “about 1000 retweets” he says he’ll “go try and re-convince [the necessary staff],” although whether he’s serious, successful or about to pull one on us… well, we’ll find out if we hit the mark eh?
