First Look At Tokyo New World Record: Operation Abyss, A New Vita DRPG From Experience

Experience is continuing Labyrinth Cross Blood Infinity story with Tokyo New World Record: Operation Abyss. Both games take place in a Tokyo which is overrun by monsters. A few men and women have special abilities to fight back and join the Exe Corps.

Famitsu explains, Tokyo New World Record: Operation Abyss has 3D dungeons and you can bring six Exe Corps into a dungeon.

Making dungeon RPGs is Experience’s specialty and Tokyo New World Record has some good ideas like the Rise & Drop system. Fighting enemies increases the Encounter Gauge in the top left hand corner and when this rises there is a greater chance you will run into a stronger enemy which will drop better loot. Players can also leave Dungeon Memos that friends can pick up in their game.

Tokyo New World Record: Operation Abyss comes out on January 23 in Japan for Vita.
