Mewtwo evolves into Mega Mewtwo when you use Mewtonite, which can be obtained in both Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. Depending on which version of the game you have, you’ll end up with either Mega Mewtwo X or Mega Mewtwo Y. The former in particular is interesting, since it adds the Fighting-type element to Mewtwo’s existing Pyshic-type.

Additionally, the trailer also points out that certain Pokémon will have different male and female forms. This includes a brand new Lion Pokémon named Pyroar.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will be available on October 12th worldwide.
