In this morning’s Monster Hunter 4 Direct presentation, Nintendo and Capcom shared the latest details on what’s likely to be the last Monster Hunter 4-themed Nintendo Direct prior to the game’s release in less than a week. The live stream started with a look at a couple Felynes, fully decked out in Mario and Luigi gear.
Capcom and Nintendo were brainstorming on a way to throw in Mario and Luigi into the world of Monster Hunter, and decided that it would be best to include them as Felyne costumes. Players will be able to acquire the Mario Brothers costumes at 7-11 stores across Japan.
Additionally, Capcom also showed a Congalala growing after eating what appeared to be a Super Mushroom.
Monster Hunter 4 will be coming out on September 14 for Nintendo 3DS.
