The Nintendo 3DS was the best-selling videogame system in the U.S. during the month of July, Nintendo have announced—although they haven’t provided exact sales figures, instead mentioning that 3DS hardware increased by 14% over July 2012.

Meanwhile, Animal Crossing: New Leaf sold over 150,000 copies between retail and download versions in its second month, bringing total U.S. sales to over 660,000 copies.

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is still going strong, too, and has now surpassed 820,000 copies sold, between retail and download copies. Finally, on the Wii U front, New Super Mario Bros. U has crossed 830,000 in sales.
