While they aren’t as well known in the West, Kadokawa Games is making interesting games like Earth Seeker, Lollipop Chainsaw, Killer is Dead, and maybe one day Rodea the Sky Soldier. The company shifted from only making visual novels to action games when former Tecmo CEO, Yoshimi Yasuda, joined as the president of Kadokawa.
More of Kadokawa’s games are coming over including Demongaze which NIS America has slated for release early next year. Demongaze was first outed by a trademark discovered by Siliconera. And, Kadokawa just filed trademarks for Natural Doctrine in Japan and the USA.
Since the Natural Doctrine trademark was filed in both territories in English this will probably be Kadokawa Games’ next major release. We doubt it’s a Grasshopper Manufacture game though since the studio is now part of GungHo Online Entertainment and Suda is working on a new title with them. Perhaps, Natural Doctrine is another dungeon RPG or maybe a title from the Metal Max team?
