Batman: Arkham Origins will have a multiplayer mode, Warner Bros. have revealed. The multiplayer mode will be developed by Splash Damage and focuses on third-person shooter mechanics. You’ll get to play as Batman or Robin and hunt down opponents.

You’ll also be able to play as thugs on the side of villains such as Joker and Bane, and attempt to take Batman and Robin down. Joker and Bane themselves will be playable in some fashion as well.

The catch is that the new multiplayer mode is coming to the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Batman: Arkham Origins, but not the Wii U version.

Batman: Arkham Origins will launch worldwide on October 25th.
