Drakengard 3’s First Trailer Shows Off Gory Gameplay Footage

Square Enix have released a first trailer for Drakengard 3 in Japan, featuring the game’s theme song, “Kuroi Uta” (Black Song) by Eir Aoi. Watch it below:

Drakengard 3’s main protagonist is Zero, a girl with a troubled past, which you can read more about here. As previously detailed, the game will come in a 10th anniversary boxed set, and Dengeki Online reports that this will include a DLC costume for Zero.

Fans will be able to vote on the 10th anniversary box set costume, which will be based on a previous Drakengard game character. Here are the choices:

Caim (Drakengard), Furiae (Drakengard)

Manah (Drakengard), Eris (Drakengard 2)

Kaine (Nier), Nier (Nier)

Votes can be cast at Dengeki Online. 11:59 pm on July 14th is when voting comes to an end. Drakengard 3 will be released on October 31st.
