A beta for the Wii U version of Dragon Quest X kicked off earlier in the week, with the full game scheduled for release on March 30th. Today, Square Enix released a promo video for the game, giving a look at the visual upgrade on the Wii U with a selection of battle scenes and other in-game scenes.

For some odd reason, Square have disabled embedding on this particular video, so you can watch it here.

The Wii U version of Dragon Quest X will be compatible with the Wii version of the game, since both run on the same servers. The Wii U version will also support off-TV play on the Wii U GamePad. It will launch alongside a Wii U hardware bundle, which you can read about here.
