See How Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix Upgrades 358/2 Days Cutscenes

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days on the Nintendo DS had a mix of cutscene styles. Some cutscenes in the game were CG movies while others used the in-game character models. While Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix won’t include the game itself, it will have close to three hours of 358/2 Days cutscenes that summarize the game’s story.

All of the cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days will be high-resolution in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix. This means that in-game cutscenes which looked like this:

Now look like this:

That was an example of an in-game cutscene from 358/2 Days being converted. The CG cutscenes may not look all that different. Below, you can see the original Nintendo DS version on the left and the HD 1.5 Remix version on the right:

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix will be released in Japan on March 14th.
