Dragon Quest X was originally released for Wii and it’s coming to Wii U with enhanced graphics. Square Enix will let players upgrade, so to speak. If you have the Wii version you can purchase a digital copy of Dragon Quest X for Wii U for 3,490 yen ($41). A retail copy of Dragon Quest X for Wii costs 6,980 yen ($82).

Square Enix has a big update planned for Dragon Quest X with Superstar and Magic Knight classes. The version 1.2 update slated for release at the end of December also ups the level cap to 60, adds a lottery, and an auto matchmaking system for parties.

Dragon Quest X will have more character customization options too. A dress up shop will let players alter their equipment and you can get a new hair style at the salon. Players will be able to get more furniture for their houses too.
