Japanese video game publishers don’t always wait until a sequel to continue a popular series. The may supplement It with comics or radio drama CDs.
A Persona 4: Golden radio drama coming out in Japan in March tells another story about the Investigation Squad. It’s a chilly spring in Inaba when the Investigation Squad, Nanako, and Nanako’s friend Mai are walking along the riverbank. They run into three lost kittens and Yukiko suggests they should find adoptive parents for them. Mai decides to bring them along so they have home, but that’s just a temporary resolution because she loses the poor cats. Yosuke talks with the group and decides to form the "Missing Cat Case Investigation Team" to get to the bottom of the case.
Chie, Kanji, Teddie, Naoto, Dojima, Marie, and the protagonist are also in the radio drama. Index Corporation will release the radio drama on a CD for 2,940 yen ($35) on March 27, 2013. Volume two of the Persona 4: Golden radio drama is slated for April 24, 2013 also for 2,940 yen.
