Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus has a mode for newbie ninjas. Select the "Hero" difficulty level and Ryu will auto guard when he’s in a pinch. The PlayStation Vita port also has touch screen throwing controls.

Team Ninja added new modes like Ninja Race (left) where you grab items to increase Ryu’s speed. Part of the strategy is chaining enemy kills to increase your attack power. A new tag mission mode lets players get more time with Rachel, Ayane, and Momiji. New character costumes were made for Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus too.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus comes out on February 28 for PlayStation Vita. The game will retail for 6,090 yen ($74).
