Unchained Blades Exxiv Switches From Dungeon Crawler To Monster Duels

… until you get to a Judgment Battle. Players have to clear these monster duels to move the story forward. If you can’t win a duel you can train more followers and try again. Unchained Blades Exxiv’s monster duels have a different battle system. Followers clump around Ryuga and you use them to block or attack. When your followers clash you can mash a button to deal heavy damage.
