Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn producer, Naoki Yoshida, has a tiny update for fans in his latest “Letter from the Producer” column. Ten days are left until the FFXIV servers go offline on November 1st, Yoshida reminds readers, following which all data recorded up until that point will be moved to A Realm Reborn.

Yoshida also says that the game’s alpha test is underway, and that there have been no major problems thus far. The development team has begun taking in player feedback.

Finally, Yoshida says that Square are continuing to add alpha testers, so if you signed up for the alpha, you might be one of the lucky few that receives an invite in your e-mail.
