Phantasy Star Online 2 has new trailers at the Tokyo Game Show (thanks, 4Gamer), specifically for the PlayStation Vita and smartphone versions of the game. As previously reported, the Vita version will be cross-compatible with the PC version for multiplayer and character data storage. Watch the trailer for it above.
Details from Famitsu.com mention that the PlayStation Vita version will allow you to chat via an on-screen keyboard. You’ll also be able to use the touch screen for item selection. Phantasy Star Online 2 will be released for the Vita in Spring 2013; and yes, in case you were going to ask, it’s online-only like the PC version.
Meanwhile, the smartphone version of the game, titled Phantasy Star Online 2 es, is being built for iPhone and Android phones. This version of the game won’t be able to play with the PC and Vita versions, but will be able to interact with them in some other manner connected to your character data. Trailer above.
