Ikaruga Designer’s Nintendo 3DS Shoot-em-up Out This Month; Here’s A Trailer

Ikaruga creator Hiroshi Iuchi’s next game is a Nintendo 3DS shoot-em-up, Kokuga, which is out later this month. Today, G.Rev released a new promo video for the game, which you can find below:

Kokuga uses cards in place of power-ups. You begin a stage with 20 cards to use, and four random cards are displayed on the bottom screen at any given point for you to tap and make use of. Cards can have different offensive and defensive effects.

 

Kokuga will be released on September 27th in Japan.
