Capcom and GREE are teaming up to release six social games based on popular Capcom brands on the GREE platform by the end of 2012. Three of these are scheduled for release in the west as well. Here’s what they’ve got planned:
Minna to Capcom All Stars:
A social game starring characters from Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Ace Attorney, Asura’s Wrath, Darkstalkers and other Capcom titles.
Minna to Houkago Soul Hunters:
This one’s more interesting. It’s a social game where players aim to become the most powerful “Soul Hunter” at school, and fight “Daimajin” by teaming up with friends. Players collect Soul Hunter cards to fight demons, and Demon cards that represent monsters. Soul Hunters is slated for release on October 10th in Japan.
Minna to Daikoukai Frontier:
No details have been provided about this one yet. This is another Japan-only game.
The three games that Capcom say will also be released in the west are Monster Hunter Massive Hunting, Resident Evil Vs., and Dead Rising: The Survival.
Resident Evil Vs.:
Dead Rising: The Survival:
Monster Hunter: Massive Hunting:
We covered Monster Hunter: Massive Hunting and Resident Evil Vs. last month. You can find more details on both those games here. Capcom say all six titles will be released for GREE by the end of 2012, with more to follow.
