Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City writer, Paul Dini, says he isn’t working on any more Batman: Arkham games—at least, not at the moment.

Dini made the following tweet this past week: “Kinda hoped I’d be doing another Arkham game in London during the Olympics. Esp, as I had a good source for tx. Ah, well.”

Fans and Twitter followers soon followed up with Dini and asked if he really wasn’t working on another Batman: Arkham title, in reply to which he clarified that he wasn’t, but that he would potentially be interested in writing a third, as he “loved writing the first two”.

So, if Dini isn’t working on another Batman: Arkham game, is he working on the rumoured Silver Age Batman game instead? The answer is no. In reply to a fan on Twitter, Dini stated: “I didn’t know about it until I read about it, so we’re even.”

Throughout the course of his writing career, Dini has made significant contributions to the Batman universe. He was the writer and a producer on Batman: The Animated Series, and later on Batman Beyond. Dini also created the Harley Quinn character for the animated series, and her popularity led to her being included in the DC comic universe as well.
