In the midst of financial troubles, THQ have handed all rights for third-person shooter, Devil’s Third, back to its developer, Valhalla Game Studios. Now that Valhalla are in control of the property, they’ve announced that they have big plans for it.

“In addition to the home console and PC versions, we at Valhalla Game Studios intend to bring the Devil’s Third universe to a wide range of digital devices,” a press release from Valhalla’s CEO, Satoshi Kanematsu, reads.

“We are also looking beyond the boundaries of video games and plan to work with other various forms of media, including manga, novels, animation and film, to create a blockbuster franchise.”

Devil’s Third is currently without a publisher, but the game itself is in the final stages of development, according to Valhalla’s Tomonobu Itagaki, known for his work on the Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive series.
