Last week, Nintendo made Super Mario Land, the first Mario title for the Game Boy, available at a discount on the Nintendo eShop in North America. While the game’s regular price is $4, last week, it was on sale for $3 instead.

Bummed that you missed out on the deal? Don’t worry, you may have something else to look forward to in the near future.

Nintendo of America say that, from now on, they’ll be holding a discount sale on the Nintendo eShop every week. Each week, a different Nintendo 3DS game will be available at a discounted price.

Meanwhile, Nintendo of Europe are running their own discount sale until June 28th, and then a second sale until July 5th. Here’s the lowdown on that:

From June 22nd – June 28th:

Pullblox
Zen Pinball 3D
Let’s Golf! 3D
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX
Super Mario Land

From June 28th – July 5th:

Dillon’s Rolling Western
Freakyforms Your Creations, Alive!
Fun! Fun! Minigolf TOUCH!
Mighty Switch Force!
Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins

Note that it’s entirely possible that Nintendo of America’s discount weekly sales will be more or less the same as Europe’s, but stretched out over a period of several weeks.
