Skulls of the Shogun is being developed out of a desire to create a modern, fast-paced turn-based strategy game that introduces the genre to new players—players who may not have the patience for the slower, more tedious menu-based combat these kinds of games are typically known for. This week, developer, 17-bit, released a new trailer for the game:
How exactly does Skulls of the Shogun plan to cut down on the tedious bits and be a more streamlined game? 17-bit co-founder, Jake Kazdal, recently shared with us: “I wanted to make an action game version of a strategy game, where it’s just pick the guy up [and] do what you want to do. No questions asked.”
