Nintendo will release Pokémon Black/White 2 in North America and Europe sometime this fall, and that’s also when they’ll release Pokédex 3D Pro, an advanced version of the free Pokédex 3D app on the Nintendo eShop. Unlike Pokédex 3D, however, Pro will be a paid app.
There’s a good reason for this. Pokédex 3D Pro will contain entries every single Pokémon with the ability to sort and compare, sort and rank them, as well as details on what moves and abilities they can learn in six different languages. AR functions from the original Pokédex 3D will return, too, with the ability to take pictures of your Pokémon in the real world.
Additionally, instead of having to unlock new Pokémon entries like in Pokédex 3D, they’ll all be unlocked from the start in the Pro version. Nintendo haven’t announced a price for Pokédex 3D Pro yet, but we’ll keep our ears open for when they do.
