We’ve finally sorted through our Phantom Breaker art contest entrants and decided upon a winner. We had plenty of great contributions across several readers, and ultimately, we had to settle on this one from reader Dzoan:
We picked this entry was for a couple of reasons. First, the amount of detail in this piece is just incredible, right from the lollipop to the custom brass knuckles on the knife. It’s got personality. Beyond that, however, it’s a well-recognized archetype and it also fits right into the personality of Phantom Breaker itself. Congratulations! Dzoan sent in a few other entries as well, two of which were also considered for the winning spot:
Of course, we had some other fantastic entries as well, all of which were also in the running either because they were clever or drawn well (or both). Take a look at some of these below. We’ve excluded reader names and used alphabets instead, just in case our readers don’t want our names out there. Please feel free to come claim your work in the comments!

There were a bunch of other fantastic entries that we liked too, which you don’t see here. Some of these weren’t included because they either didn’t fit the “anime” style of the game or because they had potential but the creators didn’t really try to explain what they were going for. Regardless, we were all in awe of how talented so many of the people that read our site appear to be. Congratulations to all of you!
