Bunny games are making a comeback. While Jazz Jackrabbit is still in hibernation, Sega picked up the slack with Hell Yeah, and now, Rockin’ Android are publishing Bunny Must Die: Chelsea and the 7 Devils. Created by the developer of the Gundemonium Collection, the game is being translated into multiple languages for a worldwide release.

Rockin’ Android’s version of the game will be released on both PC and consoles, although they haven’t specified which ones. It’s an action platformer where you explore the Devils’ Labyrinth to defeat the seven devils. Why? Because Bunny gets cursed with cat ears and sets out to take revenge.

There’s mention of a “connected map,” which makes Bunny Must Die sound a little like the Metroid style of game. You’ll also be able to pick up magical items along the way, such as the Sylph Shooter and the Hyper Heels. The game will feature an optional remixed soundtrack, as well as graphical tweaks to the original version.

Bunny Must Die: Chelsea and the 7 Devils will be released sometime this summer. You can watch a tiny trailer for the game on its official website, but we’d recommend watching the play video above instead.
