Trails Of Nayuta’s First Screens Show Falcom’s Newest Heroic Duo

Trails of Nayuta, an upcoming action RPG from Falcom, puts players in control of two heroes at the same time. Nayuta, a fifteen year old boy who leaves home with his father’s telescope and sextant in hand, travels with Noi, a fairy who had the Master Gear until a strange man took it away. Falcom designed the control scheme so Nayuta’s melee attacks and sword techniques are assigned to face buttons. Noi’s spells and gear skills are linked to different buttons. Signa is the man in the middle, he’s like a big brother figure for Nayuta who also happens to be a swordmaster.

Trails of Nayuta takes place on a chain of islands where people believe their world has an "end." The world, according to all historical records, is said to be flat. Nayuta (who lives on Left Behind Island) heads out to the world’s end after strange things happen when a shooting star crashes into ruins…
