Namco’s Samurai Ghost Rises From The Dead As A Webcomic

Now Production, makers of Bravoman and Jackie Chan’s Action Kung-Fu, also created a TurboGrafx-16 game where you play as an undead samurai called Samurai Ghost in North America.

Samurai Ghost is one of two titles in Namco’s Genpei Tomaden series and the only one to come out in the West. Kagekiyo reappeared as a playable character in Namco X Capcom, but faded back into obscurity afterwards. ShiftyLook, the division in Namco Bandai in charge of re-imagining dormant IP, is about to revive Genpei Tomaden as Scar. This webcomic drops demons and has the late 80’s video game hero travel through time to fight samurai cyborgs.
