Arc System Works are bringing another of their “Family Series” of games to the Nintendo eShop in Japan. Joining their eShop portfolio is Family Go-Kart Racing 3D. A version of this game was released for WiiWare in 2010, but the 3DS version is a little different.

The 3DS version is a singleplayer game, and lets you choose from 8 characters, 8 karts and 12 courses. It includes Grand Prix, Free Battle and Time Attack modes. While there’s no multiplayer, Time Attack lets you compare scores in online rankings. Family Go-Kart Racing 3D will be released on April 11th for 500 yen.

Arc System Works recently self-published Arc Style Soccer!! 3D on the U.S. eShop, so there’s a good chance we’ll see more 3DS eShop games released by them in the future as well. Unlike the WiiWare game, since the 3DS version of Go-Kart Racing doesn’t include multiplayer, perhaps it’ll undergo a title change? (It’s Okiraku Kart 3D in Japan)
