While we know bits and pieces about Bravely Default: Flying Fairy’s story, Square Enix has been pretty quiet about the game’s battle system other than promising a turn based system. Today, we have a few screenshots of Tiz and Agnes in battle. Looks like Tiz is about to attack Daidalos with his mythril sword.

Square Enix also shared artwork from the game’s desert country, Rakurika. Situated in the middle of a desert, this nation relies on wind power to move the giant windmill. Fortunately, a temple inside house the wind crystal. One day the wind stops and people have to turn gears day and night to keep the city going. Thieves and a corporate monopoly on water also exhausted the town. Of course, players will leave the desert town and explore the extended world which has a country caught in an endless civil war and a nation with only women.
