A scan from the latest issue of Nintendo Power hosted on Go Nintendo says that Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die will be released in North America by the end of the year, naming Aksys as the game’s publisher.

Good People Die is a follow-up to Chunsoft’s previous visual novel adventure on the Nintendo DS, 999: Nine Hours, Nine Doors, Nine Persons, which was published in North America by Aksys.

Two weeks ago, Aksys said on their website: “You might want to pick up the next Nintendo Power, on stands on 2/28, for a very special announcement.” Additionally, back in December, they mentioned a mystery game slated for Fall 2012.

Those sound like they could be referring to the same piece of news, provided that the Nintendo Power scan is real. When we got in touch with Aksys to ask, Aksys Games’ Asisstant Brick Wall, Aileen Viray, told us: “No comment!”

Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die is a multiplatform Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita release in Japan. While the Nintendo Power article pertains to the 3DS version of the game, we don’t know yet if the Vita version will make it over as well or not.
