Throw Shurikens At Dracula In Maru’s Mission

This week’s Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console release in North America is another Jaleco title: Maru’s Mission, a side-scrolling action-platformer from the Ninja Jajamaru series.

Maru’s Mission introduced the Ninja Jajamaru series to North America, but if  you glanced at the game you wouldn’t know it had anything to do with ninjas. The North American cover art has Ash Ketchum with a hoodie and walkman fighting a green monster. In Maru’s Mission, you’ll beat up legendary monsters like Dracula, the Wolfman, and Medusa.
