Remember the Square Enix trademark we uncovered last week? It was called Rebellion Overdrive, and we wondered what it could be for. That mystery has now been solved.

Rebellion Overdrive is the name of a new episode in Square Enix’s GREE social game, Knights of the Crystals. Above is a screenshot of the game’s official website.

This only pertains to the Japanese version, however. In North America, Square Enix recently announced that the English version of Knights of the Crystalswhich uses Facebook — will be ending on February 29th.

Perhaps Square intend to re-launch the game at a later date with the new updates from the Japanese version? We aren’t sure. At least the trademark mystery has been solved.
