Warriors Orochi 2 (which will technically be the third Warriors Orochi game in the West) will be released overseas, as shared by Tecmo Koei’s community manager in the UK. The game was recently released in Japan on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Warriors Orochi 3 — that’s what Tecmo Koei’s community manager calls it — features a buttload of cameos from other Tecmo Koei games, including Ryu and Ayane from Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive. Other characters making guest appearances include Jeanne d’Arc from Bladestorm, Nemea from the Zill O’ll series and Achilles from Warriors: Legends of Troy.

Warriors Orochi 3 hasn’t been given an official release date yet, and considering that the news was shared by a UK community manager, we’re only going to take it as a confirmation of a European release for now.

We’ll update as more details are made available. In the mean time, you can catch up with the game via the Japanese trailer embedded above.
