Shifting World, Aksys’ Black And White Puzzle Platformer, Is Coming In April

Aksys picked up the rights to publish Shifting World on the Nintendo 3DS. The Flash game has been redesigned with a new art style and puzzles where you switch between 2D and 3D. The core mechanic is still flipping between white and black changing the “ground” you’re standing on. If you haven’t played Shift before try it here.

Shifting World will be released as a $29.99 retail game on April 24, an Aksys representative shared with Siliconera. That’s the North American release date. Shifting World will also be released in Japan under the name Shifting World: The Labyrinth of Black in White sometime in April.
