One Piece: Pirate Warriors Brings The Straw Hat Pirates To Orange Town

While Dynasty Warriors is the core of One Piece: Pirate Warriors, Tecmo Koei added platforming elements in the game’s adventure part. Players will control Luffy in this mode and can freely explore areas. Maps will have gimmicks like objects to swing on.

After you’re done exploring Orange Town, one of the locales in One Piece: Pirate Warriors, you can beat up enemies in Warriors mode. Sanji and Zoro are playable characters here and they each have their own moves.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors comes out in Japan on March 1 for 8,190 yen ($107). Reserve the game and you’ll get a PS3 theme and a code for the social game One Piece: Grand Collection as a bonus.

The Treasure Box 12,390 yen ($161) includes an art book with illustrations from the game, fifteen pins, and a soundtrack CD along with the PlayStation 3 game.

Namco Bandai has not announced One Piece: Pirate Warriors for an overseas release, but a trademark hints they have plans to localize the title.
