Japanese retail blog, Sinobi, has listed initial shipment numbers for Monster Hunter 3G on the Nintendo 3DS, slated for release on December 10th. Keep in mind that these aren’t confirmed by Capcom, but Sinobi usually tends to be a reliable source for such estimates.
According to Sinobi’s figures, Capcom’s initial shipment will consist of 420,000 copies. 300,000 of these copies will be the regular edition of the game. 100,000 will be the Circle Pad Pro expansion bundle (first image). Finally, 20,000 copies will be the bundle with the special Nintendo 3DS (above). The 3DS bundle doesn’t include the Circle Pad Pro peripheral.
Capcom hope to sell 1.2 million copies of Monster Hunter 3G in Japan by the end of the current fiscal year, which ends on March 31st, 2012.
