3D Classics: Kid Icarus Doesn’t Have Black Backgrounds Anymore

The original Kid Icarus on the Nintendo Entertainment System was developed using the same engine as Metroid. Since it was developed on the NES, the game’s background was entirely black, due to hardware limitations. That isn’t the case with 3D Classics: Kid Icarus. This version has backgrounds added to it:

3D Classics: Kid Icarus will initially be given away as a Club Nintendo reward in Europe and Japan. It will later be added to the Nintendo eShop as a game you can purchase as one normally would.
