Yeah, We’re Pretty Sure Onechanbara Z: Kagura Is Coming Overseas

Onechanbara Z: Kagura introduces a new team of half-vampire sisters from Romania, Kagura and Saaya. Aya and Saki, the sisters from all of the other Onechanbara games, are enemies who caused a zombie uprising in this game. Onechanbara Z: Kagura has only been announced for Japan, but D3 Publisher went out of their way to make a trailer with English voiceovers and Japanese subtitles. Trendy, perhaps, but explaining the game’s weapon switching system in English for a Japan-only game is an odd marketing strategy. This is a guess, but with a trailer like this we’re pretty sure Onechanbara Z will be localized by D3 Publisher.

Those comic book style cutscenes are snazzy. Hope D3 Publisher plans on keeping those for the full game. Onechanbara Z: Kagura is an Xbox 360 exclusive slated for release on January 19.
