Imageepoch announced big plans to push JRPGs forward with a slate of titles. Tale of the Last Promise and Black Rock Shooter, two self-published PSP games were released earlier this year in Japan.
The developer turned publisher said they would reveal four more titles in 2012. One of them is a "Type-Moon x Imageepoch project," which may have been revealed since Marvelous AQL announced Fate/Extra CCC. One of the other games may be Sol Trigger. Imageepoch filed a trademark for the term in Japan. Since they registered the name in English and Japanese, they may be hoping for an international release. NIS America already signed a deal to bring their games overseas starting with Black Rock Shooter.
I wonder which project Sol Trigger could be… is it an original simulation RPG, a game from a famous JRPG creator, or a classic series Imageepoch reinvented as a JRPG?
