Sonic’s occasionally gun toting rival Shadow the Hedgehog is in Sonic Generations too and he has Chaos Emerald powers. Shadow can use Chaos Control to turn into an arrow of energy and blaze past Sonic. In both versions of Sonic Generations players will race Shadow, but the level design is different.
