Microsoft may have the ultimate pack in for Japan. A bundle pack with a code to download Monster Hunter Frontier Online will be available starting on September 28. While this package does not give players access to the whole game, the code for Monster Hunter Frontier Online allows players to play until they reach Hunter Rank 2. Being an online-only game, Monster Hunter Frontier Online requires Xbox Live Gold subscription to play. Tokens to get a one-handed sword and cross series armor are also included.
This hardware package includes a Xbox 360 with a 250 GB hard drive and will retail for 29,800 yen ($388). That’s the current price of an Xbox 360 and 250 GB hard drive in Japan, so it’s like getting the Monster Hunter Frontier Online trial code for free.
