This week’s magazine leaks have begun trickling in. Japanese retail blog, Sinobi, reports that a new visual novel adventure by the team that developed 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors has been announced.

The game’s script and direction is being undertaken, once again, by Kotaro Uchikoshi. Like 999, Kinu Nishimura is providing character designs.

The new game is in development for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita, and will be fully-voiced. As with 999, Chunsoft will publish the game in Japan. No release date has been announced so far.

Update: After a brief internal chat, we’ve finally decided how to translate the game’s title. It’s something to the effect of: Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die. Sound familiar? That’s because 999’s original Japanese title had “Extreme Escape” in it, too.
