Namco Bandai seem to want to keep Ace Combat 3D a secret. The game was originally quietly mentioned in long list of third-party Nintendo 3DS games last September. Since then, we’ve barely heard mention of it.

Namco Bandai “officially” announced the game themselves later and then mentioned it in passing their recent event in Dubai, where they revealed Soulcalibur V and discussed Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. The game is reportedly being developed by the portable Project Aces division that worked on Ace Combat X and Joint Assault.

Despite the lack of information, however, Nintendo of Europe say the game is still coming this year. Ace Combat 3D is listed as Q4 game alongside Tales of the Abyss and One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP on their release calendar.
