Two Sets Of Downloadable Scenarios Planned For Disgaea 4

Back in April, we reported a popular character would get their own storyline in Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten. Now we have a follow up story.  Nippon Ichi is indeed developing downloadable scenarios. Not just one, two according to Dengeki PlayStation.

The first scenario is titled "The Tyrant Valvatorez" and begins with the vampire lead meeting with Fenrich, his werewolf follower. Nippon Ichi developed this storyline so it has a distinctly different feel compared to the original tone. You’ll see a self-centered side of Valvatorez who has a brazen attitude when you meet him. Tyrant Valvatorez has his own set of moves too, which players can try on August 31. That’s the release date for the extra scenario in Japan.

Fuka and final boss candidate Desco are getting a side-story as well. "Fuka & Desco’s Chapter Begins" will put the characters in a sister-like relationship. Fuka acts as the elder sister and Desco behave like a younger, spoiled sister. Fuka and Desco’s storyline will have four chapters. Similar to the Raspberyl Chapters DLC for Disgaea 3, Nippon Ichi will release an append disc in Japan with this scenario on a Blu-ray for 4,179 yen ($51). Append discs act as an upgrade with new content, but require the original disc. As a bonus, Nippon Ichi is also including a limited edition Desco figure. The append disc bundle will only be made to order. Alternatively, "Fuca & Desco’s Chapter Begins" can be purchased as downloadable content for 2,000 yen ($25) or with on-disc with Disgaea 4 for 6,090 yen ($75). "Fuka & Desco’s Chapter Begins" will be released on October 27.
