Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D and Operation Racoon City might be more focused on the multiplayer aspect of the series, but Resident Evil: Revelations on the Nintendo 3DS goes in the other direction — back to the series’ horror roots. Here’s a trailer:
Revelations takes place between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, and introduces Jill’s new partner, Parker Luciani. Jill and Parker have been sent to an abandoned cruise ship by the BSAA to search for Chris Redfield. Capcom point out that Revelations also gives you a chance to venture underwater.
Since this is a Nintendo 3DS game, you’ll be able to use the touchscreen to switch weapons and solve puzzles. Similar to The Mercenaries 3D, you can also alternate between first and third person views. Alongside the trailer, Capcom also released two videos of the game in action:
