Namco Bandai’s Tales of Festival event brings more news of Tales of Xillia. 4Gamer, amongst other Japanese press, attended the event, and report that a release date for the game has been decided upon; Xillia is planned for a September 8th, 2011 release in Japan. The game will be priced at 8,379 yen ($103).

Sony and Namco will also be offering a special PlayStation 3 bundle for Tales of Xillia. This will cost 37,980 yen ($470). Pre-orders will go up on May 30th, and since the Xillia PS3s will only be produced in limited quantities, prospective buyers are advised to pre-order.

Reserving the game will also net buyers bonus costumes, mascot charms and custom PlayStation 3 themes. Jude gets a Cless (Tales of Phantasia) costume and Milla gets Stan (Tales of Destiny), both pictured at the top of this post. Additionally, Star Driver costumes will also be made available for Xillia.

Meanwhile, Famitsu are offering one of their usual DX bundles for Tales of Xillia, too. It’ll come with a replica Tipo doll, B2 posters, and clear folders.
